CAT make a mess
Characters:
George: a rough but friendly bloke who travels around with Lennie. Has a dream of owning a farm called Dandella with a small shack on it. The floor is just rammed dirt with newspaper papes for wallpaper. Unique bond with Lennie. Theymet in a refugee camp on christmas island
Lennie: a big and strong man of Chinese decent (set around the time of mass immigration just before the Great depression). Lennie may have been kicked in the head by a kangeroo and is also just learning to speak english. Loves the idea of Dandella because once a year, the swamp on the farm becomes surrounded by flocks of black swans and ducks during their mating season. Lennie chooses a Kelpie pup that is brown and tan in colour with white tummy and chest.
Setting:
Rand, country town 30 minutes drive from Albury, sheep and wheat country.
Majestic scene at the begginging set along the billabong with a lot of native flora and fauna.
The farm is a wheat and sheep farm with an orchard.
Old sheerer's shacks used as the bunk house.
Plot:
After fleeing from Albury after Lennie was accused of raping a woman, George and Lennie flee to Rand to a farm, where they work as sheep shearers. George and Lennie are trying to save up for to buy Dandella and are offered money by an old man ( ) with a missing foot from a trampelling.

Lennie: Yao Ming (I need ideas) or maybe have Lennie be small and have Jackie Chan play him.
